I believe that all students are ambitious, unique and have something special that they can bring to their own education. I will teach my students in developing their career life and to express themselves and accept themselves for who they are, as well embrace the differences of others.
The scope of Biochemistry is broad and becoming broader all of the time. I try to convey the importance of a rigorous chemical view of the macromolecules, the avocation of almost all modern biochemists. Each laboratory has its own unique community; my role as an assistant lecturer will be to encourage each student in developing their own potential and learning styles. I will present a curriculum that will incorporate each different learning style, as well as make the content relevant to the students' lives and their careers in the future. I will incorporate hands-on learning, cooperative learning, projects, themes, group discussion as well as individual work that engage and activate students learning. The overall effect of the various strategies is to make a traditionally overwhelming class seem manageable to students.
